Natasja and Mark's wedding day started very relaxed at the villa " Pura Vida" near Cala Carbo. I know this villa well because this house happens to belong to friends I have known on the island for over 15 years. So I was pleasantly surprised to start this beautiful wedding day here. The preparations were very relaxed as was the rest of the day. Full of beautiful moments and, above all, lots of fun. I had already met Mark and Natasja, from Utrecht, a few times and they immediately gave me a relaxed feeling. They wanted to get married at Ses Boques, a sweet little family restaurant close to Es Cubbels. This place is perfect for a not too big gathering like Natacha and Mark's, 45 people. Many of their guests had never been to Ibiza before, which is always really nice to see.
Natacha and Mark also had the request to take wedding photos at some beautiful spots on the island. Close to their villa, we visited some beautiful places. Cala Comte, Es Vedra and the torre Es Rovia.
The wedding ceremony on the small beach of Ses Boques was special and emotional. Special because ceremony master Jaap, together with Vera on the piano, performed the whole ceremony to music. Beautiful lyrics to music alternating with Natasja and Mark's most favourite songs sung by them. Emotional because the lyrics had integrity. I had a lot of tears in my eyes at this wedding.
After the ceremony, the reception was at the beach and we took some photos of all the guests together with Natasja and Mark. This was great fun to do because everyone was having a great time and by now a few glasses of champage had been drunk.
